The Free Press Meet the Band series started a couple of years ago with one simple idea in mind: to uncover Mankato's music scene for our readers. Bands are a big part of a city's night life and culture, and they're certainly a big part of ours. Our series - which publishes occasionally in Friday's Currents section - has so far welcomed reggae, rock, pop, hip-hop and even a yodeler into our Meet the Band family. We look forward to welcoming many more.
